Title: Nice!
Review: Excellent, audio quality! It has long range. I went upstairs and it was still connected to the speaker. The speaker is about the size of my hand!

Title: Terrible
Review: It has voice delay so everything that you talk it sounds like an echo of your voice. It is hard to for people to understand due to the delay issue.Waste of money 💰

Title: It works great, but only if your voice is deeper
Review: I got this voice amplifier to use when I am tabling at fairs or festivals and for leading tours and volunteer groups. I figured it could help me save my voice and avoid straining my vocal cords by having to speak much louder than I am used to just to be heard. The build of this is pretty good, it is made from plastic that is a medium thickness. It is light weight, but not super thin and flimsy. Still, I would not want to drop it on a hard surface, I do not think it would hold up to that kind of treatment. The battery is easy to charge and lasts a while. It will even come to you partially charged, but only partiall. The directions are confusing, they keep using different names for the parts that do not match the diagrams and they talk about a voice modulation setting that I could not find. Thankfully the mic and speaker are set up well and very easy to use. You just push and hold a button on the mic and turn the volume wheel on the amplifier until it clicks and they are on and connected. To turn them off, you do the same thing. That part of the setup is simple and works well.Attaching the microphone and amplifier box is super easy, the mic clips on your shirt collar or you can hold it if that is easier, but I found that it picks up better when it is on my shirt collar. When I hold it and move my hand the reception gets spotty. The amplifier can clip onto a pocket or the waist of your pants, or you can attach a provided strap and wear it hanging like a bag at your waist. The sound level and clarity when it picks up what you are saying is surprisingly good. I didn’t notice any odd distortion to my voice when I heard it through the speaker. That speaker can get loud at the highest setting, so test it at lower volumes before you blow out your eardrums. The microphone does pick up on wind a bit and there is no way to put on one of those puffy covers that would prevent it, but when it is on your shirt collar the wind sounds are minimal. This can be a little challenging in outdoor settings on a particularly windy day, but it is not a big deal most of the time. The real big issue with this microphone is the limited range of sounds it can pick up, but this is only going to be a problem for some people. i thought at first that it just didn’t pick up sounds well or that the reception would cut in and out, but after testing it out I realized that it was cutting out at predictable times. Specifically it cut out each time I raised the pitch of my voice. It does not pick up higher pitched noises, at all. I think this design is to prevent it from getting into a feedback loop and making that horrible screeching noise that you get sometimes. The issue is that it is set so that the mic only catches my voice if I keep it either monotone at my normal pitch or lower the pitch. If I do anything that raises the pitch at all, it just entirely cuts out and does not transmit the sound. So when I am asking a question, speaking to a child, or just showing that I am interested, and I naturally raise the pitch of my voice, you either get silence or something that sounds like you are just tapping the microphone. As my voice goes up and down, it cuts in and out so you get a very garbled sound. This is really problematic for speaking at educational events, and doing tours becuase keeping that low monotone voice is boring and the students or people you are trying to engage with your presentation will not be as interested.I tested the limits as best I could and found that this does not happen at lower pitches or at least at the lowest I could make my voice. So anyone with a deeper voice will be just fine with this. Keep in mind though, that I do not have a particularly high pitched voice for a woman, I would say that my voice is at the upper edge of mid range. This was not really worth the cost for me, but that is because it was not made for someone with my voice. If you have a deeper voice, this is a good voice amplifier. Great for classrooms, tours, or whenever you need to be heard. Just so long as you have a low pitch voice.
