Review: These are really a lifesaver as my elderly parents have started to fall now and then especially my mother! They did not want to pay a monthly fee and we did not need the ambulance coming if she fell, but purely someone in the house knowing or me being able to be notified on my cell phone to either call or go over if there is no answer. The ease of installation was good even for me who does not pick up on electronics very well nowadays. LOL the durability and construction are good and I have waited a few months before leaving this review to make sure they kept on working and they have perfectly! A good value and a great idea!Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport.I received this product for review. I was not paid for my opinion, I have not been contacted by the seller, and my opinion is my own honest opinion for better or worse. The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself. I also still have to pay taxes, actually use the product, and spend time writing this. I borrowed this initial format from another vine program reviewer, but did not get his name so whomever you are, thank you!!! My impression overall of the vine program as since the sellers know we are free to leave our honest opinion, they believe in their products before putting them into the program!! Title: Great and easy to use
Review: These were excellent and easy to use. My father moved in with us, and we used these for him to call us when he needed something. He wore one around his neck and the others we installed in his bathroom and bedroom, so he always had one close. He was more comfortable with them in order to reach us when we were in other rooms. They are large enough for an older person to find and easy to push for older hands. They installed easily and had different tones to choose from. Thank you!

Title: Phone Must Be on Same Wi-Fi – False Advertising
Review: The product description says that only the buttons and the receiver need to be on the same Wi-Fi, but in reality your phone also has to be on the same Wi-Fi to receive notifications. The claim in the description about receiving alerts even from different cities is completely false. If you are not on the same Wi-Fi, you do not get any notifications on your phone. That’s why I am returning it!

Title: Subscription for calls and text alerts
Review: Got for my grandfather since he lives alone to help with peace of mind. In general they work well. Easy set up and pairing. The main unit in the house is loud enough to hear from pretty much any room. This is great since he likes to be outside and if he falls someone in the house can hear the alarm if he presses it. The main drawback is the app/subscription. Its free to get app notifications but to get calls or texts is an monthly or yearly fee. Not only do I hate subscriptions, but this one is especially expensive for what it is. $19/month for phone calls or $35/year for texts.

Title: Great for my Mom
Review: Got this for my mom in case she ever needs me and can’t call me. Our house is small so if she needed me she would be in her BR. The monitor doesn’t say what the issue is but at least when they contact you would know there is something going on. The download was fairly simple. My biggest issue was how to attach the lanyard!!!! This is simple- you press the button, the monitor rings or lights up according to your preferences and then an alert goes to your cell.its a great inexpensive item to have for an elderly person.
