Title: Works well!
Review: My mom had developed dementia, so we bought her this product so she could have some Independence. It works great! It links to your phone, so we can get an alert if she falls or needs us. It can link to multiple devices. The range is extreme, It will alert me no matter where I am. Super easy to use! It has been a life saver.

Title: A good panic alarm.
Review: We have a special needs son and needed a way for nurses staying with him to alert us quickly if anything happened. This alarm includes two buttons and we use one on his bed and one on a medical cart that is with him during the day. The alarm is loud, pings my phone, and quickly alerts us if the button is pushed. It has been used several times and worked each time.

Title: Good Device, Awkward App
Review: Needed this for my wife. She has mobility issues and had a couple of falls in the past few years. I needed something that would send an alert to my cell incase of an emergency.LINKING THE SOS DEVICEAfter downloading the app there are a few screens to navigate through for permissions, sign-ins, passwords and so forth. The SOS device was easy to link to the pager/alarm receiver. But it took several tries to link everything to my wifi network so that I could get alerts sent to my cell.The app isn’t the most user friendly and can be a little finicky to work with. But after everything is set up the device does what it’s supposed to. The in-home alarm volume has four settings – mute, low, medium and high. The “high” setting is very loud. And the alarm’s duration can be set from a few seconds to several minutes if needed.PHONE ALERTS ARE AUDIO AND VISUAL but there are some nuances:*When the phone’s screen is locked, a banner appears and the audio alert will sound through the phone’s speakers continuously.*If the phone is in use during a conversation, whether in standard mic or speaker mode, the audio alert is heard through the phone’s earpiece.*If the phone is in silent mode, the notification banner will appear on the phone’s screen but without an audio alert.IMPORTANT: The set comes with a USB cable that’s used to supply power to the receiver. But it doesn’t include an adapter. And the USB cable itself is very unreliable. It did not fit snugly into the receiver’s power port and caused the device to shut down. That could be critical in an emergency. I suggest replacing it with a better quality cable.If the receiver becomes disconnected in any way from its power source, (power outages, faulty USB, unplugging the device) YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ALERTS TO YOUR PHONE. Everything will have to be re-paired again, and things such as the alarm type, alarm duration and volume need to be reset.Overall I think it’s a good device. Be aware that setting it up through the app can be a little tricky. And always make sure the receiver is SECURELY ATTACHED to its power source.

Title: No adapter plug provided but effective.
Review: It does not come with an adapter to plug in the USB cord but fortunately I had one. There were several steps to connect the alarm to my phone but I was able to follow the directions provided & it works well. My husband has been able to use it 3 times to alert me when he has fallen when I was in another room. I like that it alarms in the house but also sends an alert to my phone and the wrist SOS button is comfortable & can be worn in the shower.

Title: Won’t pair with internet
Review: So I’ve had this to test out. After getting new Internet gateway and it won’t add device to new network it recognizes it but won’t add to Tuya app tried to reset it and add over 25 times with no success. Very faulty for such an important device for safety of elderly person.

Title: Works great, does what it says!
Review: This device works great for peace of mind!! Very reliable! It uses the Tuya Smart smart app and cloud service – which is not incredibly difficult to set up, but it’s not exactly plug and play either! If you are technically challenged, you may have a little trouble setting this up. But when it’s all set up, here is how it works: The button on the wristband is pressed, and an alarm sound comes from the puck. The puck also transmits the alert signal to the Tuya Smart cloud service over your WiFi Internet and then the cloud service alerts the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone which displays a notification – no matter where you are. All of this is free, but for just $6 a year, you can get a voice call or SMS text message alert sent to a phone – which I do. This way I will get redundant multiple alerts to multiple devices when the alarm is triggered. I will get one alert from the Tuya app on my smartphone and one alert from a text message sent from the cloud service.
