Title: This was our favorite purchase this summer
Review: We ordered this bug catcher set several months ago when the fireflies were everywhere, and it worked perfectly and is SO cute! My daughter, my husband, and I used it all summer catching fireflies and other little critters. The quality is great—it feels very durable, and my 2-year-old hasn’t managed to break it yet (huge plus!). I love that it comes with lots of different little tools so kids can catch and identify bugs without having to actually touch them. Such a fun, hands-on way to explore nature as a family! The value for the money is a no brainer- purchase it!

Title: Good quality!
Review: My 6 yr old daughter (yes daughter lol) loves bugs! She got this for Christmas and could not wait to go looking once the rain stopped. Needless to say I get to look at a bunch of creepy crawlys ( I am not a fan ). Its pretty neat I might add, that one of the containers has a magnifying glass so she can see her favorite bugs like never before. Definitely a nice way to keep her busy while learning.

Review: Five year old excited to use the net and bug catcher. It is a great parent or grandparent activity to do with kiddo. Easier than trying to assemble one from scratch. It is most plastic but well made.

Title: Pros and Cons With a Steep Price
Review: Most of the product is nice. I purchased this as a bday gift for my 4 year old nephew. We unpacked it pretty quickly and were outside looking for bugs in no time! Within the first 20 minutes of use, the clamps (scissor like with capsules) was broken at the hinge. This was fixable with a very short screw, but considering the build of some of the other items, it would have been nice of the manufacturer could have headed this off with a screw themselves. I’m not keen on the smaller plastic cup for stashing a bug either. Seems like one drop on a harder surface and that guy will be finished. Something I REALLY liked about the set is the screened insect housing. It feels well made, comes with a strap, and best of all, the magnifying glasses on it are awesome. In fact, all of the magnifying glasses are nice in the kit. I recommend the product for any young bug enthusiast, but I do think the price point is excessive.
