Title: Great alarm
Review: Purchased this for my camper van. Love that there’s an app so I can get alerts even when I’m not close by. The batteries that it came with drained within a year, but I think that’s because my van gets taken into extreme hot or cold areas which can drain the battery faster. The instructions to download the app and set up were clear and simple. The alert/sound works really well (sometimes it’s too sensitive when I’m cooking in the van, even with a fan on, so campers beware). Otherwise, it’s a safe and reliable alarm. Really appreciate that it can detect both smoke and carbon monoxide and has given me alerts on both (works well). The display is easy to read and there’s even a backlight.

Title: Easy and quick to setup and install ** YOU SHOULD BUY ONE ASAP **
Review: UPDATE AFTER A FEW WEEKS:I am really happy with this detector. Did you hear me, I AM REALLY REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AND RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW. I am about to make my order, and I will soon have a total of 5 of these in my home.PROS:- Easy to install- Easy to set up with APP- No monthly fees- VERY loud- Runs for YEARS on the same batteries- No issues to farCONS:- Only works on 2.4GHZ WiFi (if you wish to use the App with it, and you DO). The company should quickly improve the product to support WiFi 5/6/6e, and whatever else comes down the road. I don’t like to even run 2.4 in my home, but I am stuck doing so because of these legacy products.- When installing this on the wall/ceiling, there is a ring/base that you first screw to the drywall. And then the main unit just snaps right in with a slight twist. Well, this slight twist is a VERY VERY slight turn. I am a little concerned that over time, the main unit may just slide off the ring/base. It has not happened yet, and it may never happen, but the product should be designed with a much longer twist to avoid problems in areas prone to vibration in a home. Or maybe kids will accidently hit it with a tennis ball and then it may fall to the floor.INITIAL REVIEW UPON RECIEPT:I received the detector today and quickly was able to install the APP, create an account, attach the detector to my WiFi, and install it on the ceiling to replace an existing detector that expired. All was 100% straight forward to do and it did not cause any issues or problems. My other detectors in my home are about to expire (over 7 years old) and I plan to replace them all with this same model. And with such easy success, I will look into other home products that this manufacturer builds.

Title: Good buy
Review: I have three of this unit at various places in my house. The smoke detectors blend in and looks good. I have not lost the connectivity even once. Setup was easy and the noise level when it goes off is loud. The the detector in the basement does go off once in awhile with no rhyme or reason.

Review: I have looked for a system that was connected together and X-Sense is the only one I could find with what I wanted.Basically I wanted a security, fire, and carbon monoxide system. What I got was more! My items are1-SBS50 base station5-XPOA-MR/SC07-MR combination smoke & CO alarms4-XS01-WX smoke alarms3-SWS51 water leak sensors3-SDS0A door/window sensors1-SMA51 smart mailbox alarm.All have been insialled for about 3 months now and I have not had any false alarms.I love the system so much I purchased 1 base station, 4 combination smoke & CO alarms, 4 smoke alarms, 2 door/window sensors, and 3 water leak sensors for my son’s home which is 125 miles from my home. My app is linked to my son’s app so we can see each others alarms and units.X-Sense continues to add new items to the system. I plan to add more door/window sensors for some windows that need protection in the future.PLUS: All the smoke & CO alarms sound when one goes off. Plus ALL units activate in the app for both locations. This is good if you are not home. Connects to your wifi. Batteries have a 10 year life span. Each unit was very very easy to add to the base station.NEGATIVE: I hope they will make a weather alert unit I can purchase and add to the system!!!!I DO RECOMMEND X-SENSE

Review: Easy setup… not tested with smoke yet… I was a bit worried that they would not all connect up as I have one downstairs (near the router) and 2 upstairs in separate bedrooms… I live in the Middle East so marble floors and solid concrete walls… but all seem to be ‘online’ and functioning/connecting as they should 🙂
