Title: A Must-Have Tool for My Dyslexic Child
Review: My daughter is just entering 6th grade. We thought she had a vision problem and had been working on it the past few years. She had surgery for exotropia and even got glasses, although the doctor didn’t think they were a must.However, when we explained her issue, and the ophthalmologist insisted it couldn’t be vision, we found images that explained what it was like for a person with dyslexia. She felt so vindicated, as did I, understanding the problem. However, we hadn’t fixed anything.We haven’t had any luck getting to a specialist to get an official diagnosis. It is always not covered, or the referred office ignores us. But she is smart and has been dealing with it for a long time. The problem is that as she is getting older, the content and work is getting more complex.I happened upon this device, and we think it’s going to be a game changer as she starts school this year. I can’t believe I didn’t know this type of device existed. Every dyslexic child needs one.She can read, but things get mixed around. Being able to hear it helps her a lot! Now I just wonder if there is any way this will help her with math. She keeps getting numbers transposed.The interface was straightforward. It does what it says and she is satisfied. I haven’t gotten enough feedback from her using it in class yet to give a solid feedback in the field, but at home it seems to work great.It seemed to have a lot of features that we won’t probably use. However, I thought it was pretty neat that it could scan other languages and translate them. It does work in several different languages, and they can be set up in the menu, along with other different customizations.

Review: We have tried a number of different translating tools and even used multiple apps on an iPhone to do some translating work for us. The language is Danish. not the easiest of languages to translate. Using apps proved to be a pain with what we were seeing all jumbled to together with the original text. This pen though was so awesome and easy to use. Straight up flawless translation and we were able to read documents about our family that were truly revalatory and exciting. Great product!

Title: Great for reading for you if you have vision impairment.
Review: The reader pen has been a great asset to my mom who has macular degeneration. She receives material in the mail, which she cannot read. She takes the reader pen and scans the sentences, which are then read back to her.
