Title: No more magnifying glasses… the dome is king
Review: My vision is still pretty good but I need help with low light situations as well as very small print and/or lack of contrast print. I have tried several types of magnifying glasses and have been terribly dissatisfied with them. It always seems the image is distorted and I have to continually move the glass around the subject in order to clearly focus, if at all.I ordered the dome magnifier thinking that I would only use it for paper or flat objects – sliding it over tiny print direction sheets and the like, but I have found I can also pick it up and use it as a kind of monocle… and it works great! The magnifying glasses have been disposed of and the dome is the go-to. I recently used the dome to clarify 100+ year old razor serial numbers that were hardly visible to the naked eye, the dome worked perfectly.Yes, I still use my phone to capture a photo and enlarge an image but only when I need to save the image. The dome is easy to use, quick to focus and has a good sized sweet spot with less fidgeting. The storage pouch keeps the dome scratch free when not in use, a nice touch. Very nice and useful product, highly recommended.

Review: I review construction plans but don’t like dealing with full size drawings so shrink everything to tabloid. Engineers pack so much information on the plans, you really need a magnifer to drill in and this works great for that.

Review: I’ve bought a couple of these for friends who are vision impaired and they work really well. This particular size is the perfect balance for light weight and ease of holding. If you aren’t careful in handling over time it can get scratched as it isn’t glass. But this is one handy item!!
