Review: The magnifyer seems to be very good. The lights are excellent. I like the 3 lighting intensitites which is good. What is misleading is the recharger wire. The Amazon ad indicates the charging system is USC-C. The mirror does not indicate that their supplied special wire must be used to charge the mirror. There is nothing in the Amazon ad that indicates a standard USB wire CANNOt be used. Other than that, a very good product. Question – why would they design the product to use a special wire and not a standard wire?

Review: It’s great for reading the tiny micro-print in the mini instruction booklets that accompany way too many of the items we purchase nowadays.This magnifier has a lamp with three settings. Built inside the lens is a one inch diameter high magnification section for taking an even closer look. This magnifying glass makes small print really easy to read, and it’s useful for making any micro object look more macro such as electronics.The lens is very clear acrylic, but it has some distortions around the outside edge and a slight waviness halfway to the center that is noticeable as you move the magnifier back and forth when reading text. None of that really interferes with reading or viewing whatever you are investigating. It’s not an astronomical or photographic lens, but instead a lens to casually and temporarily make smaller items larger, and it does a handy job of it.It comes with a protective fabric bag and a decently sized 20cm x 20cm cleaning cloth. This is a great value for a handy 4.75″ magnifying lens with a built-in light and a rechargeable battery.

Review: At 5 inches, this magnifying glass is LARGE! I was using a 3-inch (with three LEDs) magnifying glass for the longest time and thought to upgrade. Old electronics tend to use batteries needing changing but many newer models, including this one, come with rechargeable battery via USB Type C cable. I think that alone is often a motivator for me to upgrade.But then you turn it ON… WHOA! This thing is super bright. Fine print can no longer hide from this bright, 5 inch lens. 24 LEDs (I counted them) are embedded all around the lens. And just when you think this thing can’t impress you more, you press the power button again, and it goes EVEN BRIGHTER! Press it one more time and you swear you’ll need sunglasses to read (just kidding of course, but it is truly bright).This magnifying glass offers 5x magnification but does have a small 10x viewport at the bottom as well. The lens is crystal clear and a cleaning rag is included should you need to dust it off. A luxurious storage pouch is also included.Certainly, seniors would appreciate this magnifying lens but I know that anyone who is challenged by small prints would also appreciate, regardless of age. And because is has such a large viewing port, you can use both eyes to read (you don’t have to close one eye to see clearly). But it’s not just for fine print, any fine details on a thing of value will definitely shine through. I am very happy I upgraded!
