Yes, it works with dual‑band routers. Just connect the Fociey Local Storage Base to your router using the included Ethernet cable, and the cameras will automatically pair with the base.

Do I have to pay anything to record video?

No, there are no required fees. The system comes with free local storage (32GB built-in, expandable) in the Fociey Local Storage Base. A paid cloud storage option is also available, but it's completely optional.

How many cameras can one Fociey Local Storage Base support?

One base supports up to 6 cameras.

What happens on cloudy days when there's not much sun?

The battery lasts several days without direct sun. A few cloudy days are fine. But after two weeks of rain or heavy clouds, it may run low. Just bring the camera inside and give it one USB charge.

Does the Fociey 4K Security Camera System work with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes. You can use voice commands with either assistant to wake up the cameras and view the live feed.
