Title: Light weight, flexible and very useful. It works.
Review: This item doesn’t look like much but it’s now my favorite. It’s very light and easy to pack. It’s sturdy yet easy to fold as needed and can be adapted to many different situations. It’s strong enough to easily support a phone or a tablet. When refolded flat it takes up very little room in my carry-on. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my wife. And… the price is very reaonable.

Title: Simple and does the trick, I am a fan.
Review: [5 month update]:Still going. I expected it to die by now to be honest, but its still good to go.Nothing exciting to report other than cleaning it with alcohol wipes or windex will always treat you better than most other cleaners.[2 month update]:20k or so miles later and I’m still loving the flap. Admittedly I’m excited about trying the new Airhook 2.0 – the Flap is still a Simple concept, gets no grief from the TSA, and disappears into my bag behind my notebook every time.Works great at holding up phones, battery packs and even headphones (not all at the same time).I can see why people have problems with “tearing” it, you just need to be careful and remember not to jam it if there isn’t enough clearance behind the tray. Also remember, the closer to the edge the more flex in the tray.Great product.[Original Review]:As an avid Airhook user I was looking for something a little slimmer to stick in my bag with more flexibility and the Flight Flap delivers. Its super light, holds up my phone, offers no TSA hassle, no stewardess grief, and it slides into my bag next to my notebook just fine.My primary usage for this while flying is with an iPhone in landscape mode, watching movies and connected to power, or in portrait mode with music playing (either of these is with bluetooth headphones). It supports both of these usage modes very well. The flap is nice because as it claims, you can build a tray-stand if your meal tray is down, or you can fold your tray up and (on some planes) tuck it behind. Out near the edge works better btw as the flex in the meal tray helps. For me, I have found the “magazine pocket” to be the best spot for me. Stick 1/2 of it down behind the magazines and bend the other half around like a tray and voila. If you have a first class seat this usually means you can use your meal tray and still watch your device.I have not tried it with an iPad so I cannot speak to that, and I should also point out that your phone is only resting on this. Unlike the Airhook or Joby products there is no ‘grip’ holding the device in place so it is possible that it could bounce off if you have a lot of turbulence or you don’t leave a big enough lip when you bend it.I have not had issues with it getting ripped as others have reported but I have not used it in tight clearance spaces that much yet either. Will update this review accordingly if my experience changes. As of now, I plan to get a second one to put in my partners travel bag as well. Thanks for reading my review and if there’s any questions or more details you’d like to see here let me know.-Chris

Title: Great for traveling or using in the home or car
Review: It wasn’t quite what I expected regarding the material it is made from, but once I folded it in the correct position to hold my phone, it seemed to be very sturdy for what I am using it for. I purchased this to use on the airplane when I travel this summer. I like that I can just tuck the back piece into the pocket of the seat in front of me, and then put my cell phone on the stand portion. It holds my phone with no problems & leaves me hands-free. I have been using it at home as well, putting my phone on it as I eat breakfast or sitting at the computer.

Title: Why didn’t I think of that?
Review: You know every now and then when you find something that is completely useful but also so simple that it pains you that you didn’t think of it and then make it first? Yep, that’s this. Perfectly simple device that functions well for its purpose, easily stowable, and adaptable to many different devices. I’m glad that someone made it because apparently my addled brain didn’t put two and two together to do it.

Title: Buy the weird green thing and thank me later
Review: Great little travel accessory for long flights.I had purchased a plastic clip on cell phone holder previously, but found they extended too far towards your face which causes the screen to bounce up and down a lot when you are watching something and there’s any small degree of turbulence. This product doesn’t do away with turbulence, but does limit its impact on your viewing experience. It can also be used on the tray or just generally anywhere as a phone holder.Super lightweight, too, which is nice, priced well, etc.

Title: Nice as a stand
Review: Ok, but really only worked on the tray. I tried to hook it on the back of the seat, but my phone wouldn’t stay on it. Worked well as a stand and I loved how easy it fit in my backpack.

Review: Used this on our recent flight with Ryanair and it fits the space for the tray. It hold our iPad mini quite well, we could adjust the angle as we wanted.I bumped it off two times when trying to get to bags under, which is expected. One should be even more careful with a bigger iPad, I’d say.Seeing how others had to balance their devices on laps or trays, this was clearly superior!
