It’s bright white soft velvet true to color. The box was extremely heavy but well packaged. I took all the pieces out of the box and carried them one by one upstairs. I was able to put this large king size frame together by myself in about an hour. The directions were very clear. Things to point out, it’s not super sturdy like most expensive frames and has a third leg on each side of the bed (see photos) which is scary for your toes. Easy fixes… I bought rubber leg covers for the third leg (already saved my toes several times!) then I used headboard support extensions and rubber grips for each foot of the bed so now with the weight of my 14inch mattress now my bed is super solid and doesn’t budge! I read many reviews and even went to the companies website. Finally I ordered, came within a reasonable time in a long box. I thought what have I gotten myself into this time. Unpacked it, took parts to the bedroom upstairs to lay them down in order. Read instructions and put all screws in manner of order. I like to be organized and make sure I have the right amount of items before putting furniture together. It took me two hours the first night and another hour the following morning by myself. I am a 71 year old woman but took my time and used my knee,, shoulder or wall to hold items until I could get each of the first bolt secured. For the price this queen bed is great. Went together like a dream, did not any holes, all were aligned. Very sturdy and with a 13 1/2â mattress it is not too low to the floor. I purchased it for my guest bedroom I absolutely love it.
