Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. These cheesecake bars are surprisingly simple to make and are filled with layers of hot fudge and Oreo cookies. If milk is an Oreo’s best friend, then cheesecake must be a close second. My simple, crunchy Oreo crust comes together like a giant Oreo cookie base, with the hot fudge and cream cheese center filling in for the Oreo stuffing. The chocolate dream doesn’t end there, though, as we top the bars with a healthy drizzle of hot fudge and crushed Oreo cookies.
While this recipe is one where patience is required—the cheesecake filling has to be left to chill for at least 3 hours—I guarantee you will find the end result well worth the wait. Plus, if you don’t have a spare 3 hours on the day you plan to serve the bars, the cheesecake can be baked a day ahead of time and left in the fridge overnight, until ready to serve.
