B0BVBVPSX6, The Bose A30 Aviation Headset is best utilized where noise is pervasive, comfort is required and communication is critical. The Bose A30 is Bose’s highest-performing, full-featured around-ear active noise cancelling aviation headset to date. With 20% less clamping force than the Bose A20 and redistributed weight for superior on-head stability, the comfort of the A30 rises to the top among over-the-ear form factors. The Bose A30 Aviation Headset with Bluetooth further improves upon the comfort and functionality of the Bose A20 with a new acoustic design and a fully digital active noise…, 4.5,

Title: Perfect headphones for me
Review: I’m a first year college aviation student and I needed headphones for flying. I chose these because I heard good things about them and oh man these are worth every Penney. They are light and fit perfectly on my head. They have such good sound quality and well and the noise cancellation is top tier and they are easy to use. I didn’t want to spend five hundred on a mid pair and later on spend the money on these. Overall worth the investment.

Title: Enthusiast to professional, a great headset
Review: I was beginning flight school, and this headset was recommended to me. The sound quality is perfect. Overall quality of materials is great. It’s comfortable and easily adjustable with little issue. The noise cancelling works great, I fly a Cessna 172 and regularly fly pattern with the windows open. I can hear the tower just fine with not much volume increase. The Bluetooth function is great, it mixes audio signals well. With typical store-bought AA batteries, using full noise cancellation and playing music with Bluetooth, you can get about 20-30 hours. Longer with less noise cancellation and no music. The only issue, of course, is the price. Listen, if you can get this headset and still eat with relative ease, you won’t regret it. Take good care of it, and it will last a good long time. Just be careful not to pinch the cable in the door, as it’s quite long. I had to replace the cable for that little lapse in judgement.

Title: This thing is great!
Review: I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews on the a30 over the a20. After flying with this headset, I think the negative reviews are from people having an expectation that the a30 would be the next revolution in aviation headsets that the a20 was when it came to market. In my opinion I feel like the a30 fine tuned the great things about the a20.This being said though from getting to fly an a20 on occasion and not as a primary headset. My headset before was a Denali d90 from flightcom. I love that headset, super comfortable, ok ANR. I say that to say, going from the d90 to the a30 made the d90 feel like a clamp with a David Clark being a vice on that scale lol. The ANR on the a30 is so good, I had to relearn all the engine noise nuances. Bluetooth is seamless and sounds amazing phone and music. I like the option to mute or not when the intercom or radio keys up. Phone call audio is awesome and no one knows I’m flying unless I tell them. I’ve hot about 20 hrs on the a30a so far with no cons. Definitely worth it.

Title: Gets the job Done!
Review: What people need to understand is that this wasn’t created to replace the A20 (which I own) . Great aviation headset over all, but it is totally redundant to buy this headset if you already own a pair of A20s and are looking to upgrade. This is a minor update over the A20, and to be honest Im not quite sure if they are better (noice cancelation is about the same, sometimes I feel the A20s are quieter, mic is a little bit better on the A30s). I needed an extra headset for passengers so I gave the A30 a shoot (They work as expected, can’t complain). In conclusion, if you own a pair of A20s and think the A30 are the next big thing (they are not), If you don’t have any ANC headset, then this will be a good choice because they just work, and finally if you’re looking for a extra pair of headset the A30s will be a nice add on!!

Title: bought this for my daughter
Review: I bought this for my daughter and this is her review: I’m a student pilot working toward my Private with less than 10 hours, and I’m currently training in a C-172. I’ve spent enough time with this headset to rate it 5 stars. The earphone sound and mic quality is phenomenal, and the ANR works amazing (if you remember to turn it on!). The headset is lightweight so I forget I’m wearing it, which I am especially grateful for as someone with a sensitive head. I will say though, practicing stalls and flying out of my seat so much caused the headset to press down and hurt the top of my head a bit, but I think this could be easily fixed by slightly adjusting it’s position. Practicing stalls was the only time I had any issue. This is the first aviation headset I’ve owned so the only other headset I can compare it to is a much cheaper one I borrowed from my flight school for my discovery flight, and I think the Bose A30 is way better and definitely worth the splurge. As the saying goes, buy once cry once! I can safely say I have no complaints about the Bose A30 and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an aviation headset.

Title: Very comfortable
Review: No better headset, in my opinion. Great sound. After a long flight you don’t even notice you were wearing any, very comfortable.

Title: A30 RETURNED after two minutes of evaluation.
Review: I believe the noise canceling feature or the Bluetooth feature was fluttering in the headset. I’ve never experienced that with my A20’s. Also, the A30 had too much padding at the top and made the A30 top heavy and would fall off my head with the slightest downward look. I fly for a major airline and I returned the A30’s within the hour after unboxing them. I couldn’t have my headset falling off my head during a flight and felt it was a worthless headset. I bought another pair of A20’s the same day. My old A20’s had a short in the microphone and I couldn’t purchase replacement parts in time to fly again.
