Ingredients:

For Chicken Marinade:

●     500g boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

●     1 cup plain yogurt

●     2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

●     1 tablespoon garam masala

●     1 tablespoon ground cumin

●     1 tablespoon ground coriander

●     1 teaspoon turmeric powder

●     1 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

●     Salt to taste

●     2 tablespoons vegetable oil

For the Sauce:

●     2 tablespoons vegetable oil

●     1 large onion, finely chopped

●     2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste

●     1 teaspoon ground cumin

●     1 teaspoon ground coriander

●     1 teaspoon paprika

●     1 teaspoon turmeric powder

●     1 teaspoon garam masala

●     1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes

●     1 cup heavy cream

●     Salt and sugar to taste

●     Fresh cilantro (Coriander Leave), chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Chicken:

●     In a bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients. Add chicken pieces, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

2. Cook the Chicken:

●     Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and place them on a Baking tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.

3. Prepare the Sauce:

●     In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

●     Stir in ground cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and garam masala. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

●     Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and a pinch of sugar. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

4. Finish the Dish:

●     Once the chicken is cooked, add it to the sauce. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Adjust salt and sugar according to taste.

●     Garnish with chopped cilantro (Coriander Leave) and serve the Chicken Tikka Masala over steamed rice or with naan bread.
