Title: Very difficult to use
Review: I got this for my husband, who has very poor vision. Well, he couldn’t use it at all himself at first, as the little booklet is written in very small print. Why would you print directions in a font so small you’d have to know that anyone who could read the small print wouldn’t need this magnifier.I have very good vision, and went to help him. First it says to put the SD card into it. What card? There was no card included in the box.So, skip the card, we tried turning it on. He’d been charging it all night and the little red charger light was off. I held the start button down, and it did finally turn on. But I didn’t know how to work the side buttons. Did they need this mysterious card that is no where to be found?My husband, who is usually very good at figuring out things like this, is playing with it now, trying to figure out how to make it work. I’m going to start looking for a little box to send it back in. Very disappointed!Just got back to see him. He has it all packed up in the original box, and said to send it back to Amazon. I am very disappointed, as he really needs something like it. But it’s definitely going back!

Review: M vision is severely impaired, and it was recommended that I obtain a digital magnifier since their magnification is significantly greater than magnifying glasses.My review of available digital magnifiers indicated that this unit was the only one that had two attributes that I considered to be very desirable, and specifically:• The near screen position at approximately 45° from horizontal.o This angled screen allows you to sit normally at a table or desk with the documents flat on the surface in front of you, as opposed to a horizontal screen where you have to stand over or lean forward when sitting in order to view the screen properly.• The far lens’s capability, coupled with the magnification up to 32Xo This allows you to read even relatively small print at a large distance.o The unit is vey useful for reading overhead street signs add overhead aisle markers, etc. in stores.My first impression on opening the box was that the digital magnifier was attractive, rugged, and well-constructed.
