Title: These work fantastically for fire starters!
Review: These are just ever so slightly too big to fit in an Altoids tin, but with very slight modification they can easily be made to work. They do come with plastic sleeves that add little to no bulk. When I first pulled one out I’ll be honest, I had my doubts. However, when I actually went out and tried it out, they work wonderfully. In fact, these work better than my good glass one that I keep in my larger fire starting kit does! Even as the sun was going down I was able to get enough light focused to burn. We bought these for my son to make fire starting kits with Altoid tins and various other components to trade with at Trappers. A great purchase!

Title: Inexpensive, lightweight, portable and useful little magnifiers
Review: Don’t expect powerful lenses with high optical quality. These are handy, inexpensive little lenses that will give you around 3 times magnification in a pinch. Each comes with a small plastic sleeve to help prevent scratches or smudges on the lens. Older folks with failing eyesight might fine them particularly useful. I keep one in my wallet and have distributed them in various workrooms and areas of the house. Come in handy when you can’t quite make out that serial number, the fine print on an ingredient label or are trying to thread a needle. I haven’t tried to start a fire with one, but I would suggest keeping some weather-proof matches or a lighter around for that task anyway.

Title: Just what I needed at a great price
Review: I ordered 3 packs of these to hand out to Cub Scouts ages 5-10 as a way to learn more about nature (plants, bugs etc). This was part of a District-wide training event for the kids. They were a big hit, with the Scouts and parents alike. At the price point, what a great value to get kids excited about science at an early age. Some kids who skipped my training station heard about how cool these mini-magnifiers were and sought me out to get one.Word of advice: if you do give these to kids, be aware that some of them will know that you can light leaves on fire using sunlight and a magnifier. Keep an eye out for the known issue, and everyone will stay safe and have fun seeing the world differently with these little beauties.

Review: 蚊取り線香にちゃんと点火しました！素手で持つとプルプルして焦点がなかなかあいませんでしたが、クリップや針金など使って固定したらあっという間に点火。蝋燭の芯にも点火しました。小道具が必要な点では工夫が必要な代物ですが、燃えやすいものなら素手でも点きます。遠方に行く時は防災グッズとして携帯します！家では蚊取り線香の着火くらいかな〜でもなんか安心するので、持っておいた方が良いです。
