B0CR2Z9KKD, #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the…, 4,

Title: Another Great Reacher Read
Review: I’ve been an avid fan of the Lee Child series for years. It’s been interesting to see how Jack Reacher’s character has evolved over time and to see how he operates in our current age of technology when he’s a possession-free Luddite. This was a great read, with the kinds of twists and turns I’ve come to expect. My only complaint is that it was over too soon!

Title: A Fun, but Flawed Reacher Book
Review: This latest Reacher book is fun, but it has some serious plot flaws. There is plenty of action. The plot flaws have to do with times when the actions of the FBI and Reacher don’t make sense (no spoilers). Aside from that, I can’t understand how Reacher can continue to be completely ignorant about how computers, cell phones and apps work. Granted he does not own any, but he was supposed to be an investigator when he was in the army and presumably knew how to do his job. Since he left the army he has had plenty of time to learn the basics of 21st century communications even if just by osmosis. Just basic curiosity should have advanced his knowledge beyond what is portrayed.

Title: Reacher on Steroids
Review: Easy reading; a great plot, & the Reacher character never disappoints! I’ve read ALL of the Reacher books & have worked in London for 5+ years so I recognize & I enjoy the English bent Lee Child gives the character & plots!

Title: Reacher series writing continues decline in this lastes novel.
Review: I was really disappointed in the last book. Like most of the ones co-authored with the son, the writing is just not as good as the ones authored by the father alone. I thought it may have represented less input from Dad. From reading other reviews, I see I’m in good company. Yes, on the face of it, it is an interesting read. However, as I read it, I realized that again, it just didn’t ring a bell with me or the two other persons, I regularly pass Reacher books onto. Maybe because we all had read every Reacher book (and have good memories) we all agreed that since the son has been co-authoring, the quality is not as high. In fact, we thought the last volume was the worst yet. There also seemed to be a lot of gratuitous violence (not as much in this book) with the last three books. Reacher is violent and over-violent perhaps, but he basically is an admirable person: it was strange to see him go overboard in a couple of the recent past volumes. As with the writing, Dad is better the writing’s content. It is interesting that I never could tell that big a different when Clive Cussler took on a co-author, maybe a bit less good on the history, but writing seems solid..

Title: Reacher can’t answer, he’s a bit tied up
Review: Jack Reacher starts out his latest adventure “In Too Deep,” Lee Child’s 29th starring the beefy marine, in an automobile accident. He survives but rather than a rescue, he’s hauled from the crash site to a nearly empty mansion and tied up. Apparently his captors believe he’s got information they could use. They would kill to get their hands on it. When he revives, Reacher finds himself with few options. Armed solely with his intellect, Reacher finds a way to free himself and sets off to discover just what mess he’s found himself in this time. Turns out he’s not the only one who missed a detailed explanation. He teams with a woman who wants to avenge her father to track down just what this group of crooks wants. It’s not good. A memory stick with information that could doom U.S. security if it got into the wrong hands increases the stakes. Reacher likes a challenge, but this one requires every ounce of his considerable grit. And it appears from the narrative that Reacher is aging. He’s not the young major, busting privates and uncovering corruption. Getting into fights and staying alive require vigor. And his appears to be ebbing. Can he recover the goods and save the world? Maybe. He is after all Jack Reacher. And yes, the last of the series appears to be the next novel. Andrew Child, Lee’s little brother, gets a writer credit, and I believe I spotted Andrew’s style throughout. He’s grittier than Lee and exceptional at fight scenes.

Title: Great Reacher but not exceptional
Review: As expected, Reacher figures out clues, smashes heads and saves the day at the end. Oh, and has great sex with his female partner before (figuratively) riding off into the sunset. It’s a solid and fun ride but seems just a tad formulaic, so I give it a 4 instead of 5. But don’t let that stop you; it’s really pretty good.

Title: interesting read
Review: A bit slow in the beginning, did pick up mid way through. I finished the book although not the best Reacher story. Slow pace, I would read it again but only if I did not have something else to read

Title: Same but still good
Review: Not a whole lot to say if you’ve read any of the other Reacher books. Not as good as the earlier ones, but still an action-packed joy ride.
