Title: Lentorgi CF-430S – They got it right
Review: After 15 years my BTE prescription hearing aids failed for the third time, so decided to try the OTC versions. The first set was a disappointment, at volume levels low enough to barely hear conversations the high frequency sounds were quite startling when unexpected noises occurred such as a sheet of paper being torn, or putting ice in a glass. There were some other issues, but I could overlook most of them. So I decided to give the Lentorgi CF-430S a try and have been quite impressed. They must have done a lot of market research as it appears they got everything right, at least for my needs. I hope Lentorgi and/or Amazon will continue to sell this model in the future in case I ever need to replace them.Pros:Regular conversations sound normal and not tinny. I’m using the open domes so this may vary slightly with closed domes.There are 8 volume settings and these are saved when they automatically turn off for recharge.They seem to work okay when using the phone, no need to remove them.Comes with good assortment of ear domes. The retainer (stabilizer bar) on the air tube is nice and similar to the prescription models.Controls are easy to use.High frequency sounds are not deafening or startling.There is an indication when the battery is low unlike some of the less expensive types.These are small in size, similar to my prescription hearing aids.The feedback and noise cancellation work really well.It comes with a USB wall plug-in charger.The user guides are translated better than most off-shore manuals, instructions are quite good.Cons:There are some minor inconsistencies in the Operation Guide, it states 3 program modes however the Amazon page correctly shows 4 modes.Wish replacement domes were readily available, but it appears the only source is to buy the complete kit from Amazon. I only need 2 of the 10mm open domes out of the entire kit.

Title: Highly recommend trying these hearing aids
Review: I’ve been wearing $4000 hearing aids for several years… Shopping around for OTC – less costly. These hearing aids provide good hearing in many ways for MY moderate to severe hearing loss. Actually couldn’t believe how well they worked!! I am so impressed. I’m going to search for more costly product that has iPhone control because I’m over 80 and have trouble with my hands. Such a blessing for hearing loss… Don’t short change yourself… Will improve your life. Thank you
