B00AQIGNPC, UNIQUE APP RANKING SYSTEM!
”I have gone through a number of books like this one, and most of them are pretty much the same. This is the one you want… Personally, I will check out any book this author writes about apps because, for some reason, maybe a bad case of OCD, he is obviously compelled to do the most thorough investigation into each and every aspect, good and bad of apps in a particular genre. My hat’s off to him, and he has my thanks for saving me a ton of time and grief.” – Linda Abbott (Reviewer)

Title: This short Manual was helpful to me
Review: I gave the five stars to this much to short Manual because I did learn some useful tips for using my KF and will download the next one in line.Kindle Fire is so much more the a device to play a game or just read a book if you know what you are doing, I don’t . The ten apps described here in only three would I use but there where three my grandkids would enjoy.Since it is free I would recommend it to those new to the fire or to anyone wanting to check out an app be fore you download it.

Title: Generally Interesting
Review: It is worth flicking through this book, since it is free, so you are only spending time. It isn’t particularly in-depth, however, and is mainly useful for deciding whether you like his style and approach enough to buy one of the full books. It has some useful tips, such as how to turn off in-app purchasing to avoid unintended purchasing and some others, but it is only a small selection of apps, and most of those are games, which doesn’t particularly interest me.

Title: Some good information for app users
Review: I really don’t use apps other than what came on my Kindle Fire. I know nothing about them and always shy away from downloading anything for fear of a virus or crashes or whatever else can go wrong but I was curious when I saw ‘Top Free Kindle Fire Apps: An Introduction, Plus Tips and Tricks’ by Andrew Middleton (The App Bible). Although I still don’t use any apps it is a nice way to save time if I did want to use any. The book is easy to use and rates the top ten free apps in areas that are important such as if it crashes, how well it interacts with other apps, if it is easy to use, and so on.Another nice feature is that all the apps are in chapters of their kind. For example: game apps, kid’s apps, and productivity apps. Then there is a chapter for ‘Tips and Tricks’ which I found interesting and you can use some of the information no matter if you use apps or not such as how to conserve battery life on your Kindle Fire. If I did use apps I would definitely be reading the “How to avoid accidental In-App Purchases” again as well as a few others.Other features of the book are there are links to other books written as well as links to the apps mentioned in the book. I don’t know if all the links work since I have no use for them however as with everything in this digital age, I imagine some links are no longer valid but at least the name is still there so you can look it up on Amazon to see if it is still available if it is something you are interested in.I know a lot of research and trials went into the writing of this book and although I didn’t find it really useful for my situation, I am sure those of you who do use apps will find it much more useful. It is a good introduction to the top ten apps, what they do, what order to load them (I didn’t know you had to load apps in a certain order), without having to load them and trying them all out yourself. The rating system is explained and easy to understand and also how turn off the ability to make in-app purchases.

Title: Excellent, Quick, Easy Read. Reliable Appraisals, Methodically Written to Save Readers Time & Anguish
Review: Length: 59 pages.Okay, you caught me. I confess. I downloaded this book because it was incredibly cheap and short and I couldn’t understand why somebody would spend a good chunk of his time reviewing and recommend apps that are free.I mean, c’mon, people who critique free stuff must be crazy Amazon reviewers, like yours truly.Well, about five pages into this book, I realized, the writer has some good points. His technique is thorough, methodical, and is an easy, quick read. I think, as I review, I might try incorporating some of his methods. Before I download any free apps, I think I will check to see if a review is included in Top Free Kindle Fire Apps.Time spent on reading this book for an appraisal of a free app is time well spent.

Title: What rubbish!
Review: This book is a ridiculous joke. The author spends a good half the book explaining the reasons why this book is better than the rest. I found most of these reasons to be complete rubbish. The author claims he has tested a substantial amount of apps, and has offered only the very best. If this is true, then why are there only about 15 apps in the entire book? I understand the author made a reasonable effort to make good reviews, but the first half of the book tries to convince me to read it. Then follows a long-winded review of a paltry 15 or so apps, half of which I already knew of, and the last bit tries to convince me to visit the author’s site. He would have been better off teaching me to install apps from Android onto my Kindle, which I have, and that alone has given me all the apps the Amazon store did not. The title calls this an Introduction, and this is where I stop.

Title: Not useful
Review: Author lists 10 apps, maybe 3 are interesting (but they’re already well-known and popular). Seems like most of the book was a promo & links to his other books. If this had been a single page with app title and links, I still don’t think it was worthy of a download. Sorry…I gave the book an extra star for the tips/tricks section. Battery monitor and info on in-app purchases were useful management advice.

Title: very goodread
Review: it was an exciting and interesting book that kept you interested and reading…but I was disappointed in the end when it went from exciting to a CORNY!!!ending.loaned it to my daughter and she responded the same . She said overall it was a good book, but it was a corny ending..and there were so many more endings that could have been used instead of a corny romanticwould recommend it.

Review: If you paid for this book then it was a waste of time. There are much better books with better information and less verbiage. Poor in my estimation.
