Title: Love the convenience and efficacy of this ring!
Review: This ring is FANTASTIC! My mother has required oxygen for about 2 years now. Finding the right level of oxygen to keep her healthy was challenging because using a typical pulse oximeter only gives a reading for that moment. Oxygen saturation levels can change in a person quickly and if it’s too low, permanent damage can occur. This ring allows my mom to monitor her own oxygen levels all the time. The display screen on the ring clearly shows her oxygen saturation in real time and has very good readability. Additionally, my dad connects the ring to the app on his phone and can also see her oxygen levels from across the room or the house. Furthermore, if her oxygen saturation drops below a limit he set in the app, an alarm will go off on the app and will cause the ring to vibrate. The app is easy to use and overall set-up was simple. We also love that the ring tracks my mom’s heart rate. Since she has a-fib, this is a handy feature to monitor her heart rhythm. While it’s not cheap, the ring is fairly priced for the value. The battery life is very good, but we bought two rings so that we can have one charging while she is wearing the other one. She does wear the ring 24/7 and says it’s comfortable enough to sleep with and doesn’t get in the way of living life. The ring is pretty durable. The silicone structure allows it to stretch for larger fingers. The company provides a good warranty and excellent service in the event the silicone rips.UPDATE: The silicone on the bottom of the ring did break, but the company was excellent to work with. They were very responsive to email and quickly sent a replacement ring. I provided the serial number and a picture of the broken ring and they made it right. THANK YOU! It’s a pleasure to buy products from a company like this that takes great care of their customers.

Title: Almost a sleep study. Well-made device and excellent software!
Review: This is a small but mighty device. It registers your pulse and oxygen saturation quickly. Compared to other pulse oximeters I have used, this one hones in on the saturation more rapidly and displays the value more consistently than some others that “can’t seem to make up their mind”. I wore it while sleeping and it was very comfortable. It synced easily with the free iOS ViHealth app. The quality and amount of data produced are incredible! See the attached photo– you can view the O2 sat and pulse in graphs for your entire sleep session along with data on how much time your pulse and O2 saturation spent in different ranges. There is even a graph showing motion during sleep. The ability to export the report as a PDF is terrific. I can imagine this device being used by patients with sleep concerns. They could then share the report with their physician who I would expect would find this very helpful. Some reviewers reported that the monitor can only be charged with the included cable as though it were proprietary. I was able to charge it with both the included cable as well as a standard USB-C to USB-A cable. However like many devices, it may not charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable if their devices did not implement the required USB-C handshake for power negotiation which USB-C to USB-A does not require. By all means, use the included cable but if it is damaged, a standard USB-C to USB-A cable will work to charge this. Overall, very pleased!

Title: Beware of the charger issues
Review: The functionality of the ring itself is fantastic but the fact that the only charger that charges the ring is the one that comes with it, is ludicrous to me. Unfortunately, the charger is no longer working in less than a week after purchase. I have tried other C port chargers without success.I have contacted Asurion to get a replacement charger, they wouldn’t replace the charger because it’s under 30 days so I must to through Amazon for a full device replacement. Mind you I’ve subscribed to the yearly $79.99 plan. This charger situation ruins my experience with this ring and for that reason alone I wouldn’t recommend this ring until they fix that issue.

Title: Worth it if you need detailed oxygen data
Review: I bought the O2RingS to track overnight oxygen and heart rate levels, and overall it delivers very well on its promises. What works well:- Accurate tracking: The O2RingS samples 200 times per second and stores one data point per second, which is much more frequent than the original O2Ring that stores one data point per 4 seconds. This makes it highly precise for overnight monitoring of oxygen saturation, heart rate. It also tracks movement, but it didn’t indicate a lot of movement even when I had to get out of bed during the night.- Simple operation: Just slip it on and it starts recording automatically. Syncing with the ViHealth app is quick and reliable over Bluetooth. Data can also be synced to a PC using the included USB cable and the dedicated PC application. There is no difference in functionality between the mobile and PC apps.- Vibration alerts: If oxygen levels drop below a threshold, the vibration is noticeable but not overly disruptive—useful for sleep apnea monitoring.Things to improve:-Charging cable: Although the device uses a USB-C port, it does not support standard USB-C chargers or cables. You must use the included proprietary cable. Losing it could be problematic.- Comfort & design: The “one-size-fits-all” approach isn’t ideal—on smaller fingers it feels loose, on larger ones tight.Bottom line:If your priority is accurate, high-resolution tracking of oxygen and heart rate, the O2RingS is excellent. The automatic recording and reliable app integration make it easy to use nightly. However, the comfort/design quirks and reliance on a proprietary charging cable are definite downsides. For me, it’s a solid 4-star device—worth it if you need detailed oxygen data, but not perfect out of the box.
